A So So Day Until !!!
Today was like most normal days, get up, drink few cups of java, usual breakfast, tidy house, run a couple errands, then back home. The afternoon, about the same, chatting with friends, then came dinner. As evening progressed, Tim made an astounding sight. He was showering and, shouted out, "Not to many folks can take a shower under the moon." Not realizing what he was talking about, I had to investigate. Our shower has a skylight and the moon was brightly shining in it. Amazing how a minor event as showering, created showers of joy!!! Life is great!

Monday News
This morning began as a normal Monday, with laundry, grocery shopping, and also still unpacking. We are going to Jacki's later to get our final items we have stored there. I know this will make Jacki and Geoff happy. There was not an empty space anywhere, in their garage or house, that we were not using. We love you guys for helping us.
Working on my blog.

Enjoying The View
Busy unpacking today. Man, I still have too much for my rv. This is very trying, but as always, it will happen.
Watching sea gulls on the lake.
A fellow camper told Tim the showers here were great. So I went to see for myself. Wow, was I surprised. It was very, very clean and large and private. Nicer than The Hilton.

Today is the Day
We finally have possession of our new home. After a new inverter was installed, we did some shopping at Statesville Camping World, and said our goodbyes, we got on the road around 11:00 am. Went to Jacki's to load up our belongings and with her and Geoff's help, finished in about 30 minutes. Off again to Lake Norman RV Motor Coach Resort in Mooresville, NC. Didn't take long to get there. Tim is doing a great job driving this 38ft. baby around. Pulled into site 14, which has a wonderful view of Lake Norman. Been very busy unpacking and even skipped lunch. It's almost five and I'm saying, stop for dinner. I can't miss two meals! So while Tim is chatting with a neighbor, thought I could start on my blog.
Meet Our New Family from Statesville, NC Camping World
Meet Our New Family from Statesville, NC Camping World
Can't say enough about the wonderful service we received from
Statesville, NC Camping World. We became family. I would rate this
facility the biggest 10 ever. Two of our salesman, Rodney and Bobby did everything possible to meet our needs.
These are a few more of the wonderful people that made us feel like we were
at home.
This is Brian, a big sweetheart. One day, Tim and I had to go tell him that our closing had been delayed again. I think it was the 4th. time. I was so sad, I started crying. As we were leaving, Brian came to me, gave me a big bear hug and handed me a gift card to Camping World. He brought a smile to my sadness. He was sooooo compassionate. Everyone at Camping World was just that SPECIAL.

Finally Closed!!!
Yesterday was the BIG day. At 3:07 pm we gave the new owners of our home the keys!!! At 6:30 pm we were sitting in our new home, on wheels. It was, and still is at the dealership. Hopefully, we will be leaving tomorrow afternoon. We will then be at Lake Norman RV Motor Coach Resort in Mooresville, NC. This is about 10 minutes from Jacki's. We will stay there til Feb. 8, then head to Perdido Key, Fl. This is in the panhandle almost on the border of Alabama. We will leave there Mar. 9 and come back to LN RV Resort for about 6 weeks. Then head north to my beautiful home state of OHIO.

Trip Home
It is always sad for me to leave my sister and now brother, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. My flight home was great. Exit row with empty seat next to me. Tried watching a movie on my new IPad for the first time. Unsuccessful because I could not hear it. I'll be checking that problem out real soon. So I passed the time away by reading. Just about as good. My flight was 25 minutes early. but we lost 10 minutes sitting on the tarmac. Still had wonderful fight. Watching a sunny yellow jeep pulling up get me brought a big smile to my face.
