We have been thoroughly entertained this morning. Went to watch my dad, of 87 years young, play basketball. He was about 10 to 15 years senior to the rest of the guys. Actually, couple of the fellows were around my age, went to school with one. Guess that would make my pops 20 to 22 years older. But he could hang with them all. For their age, they all played really well. One of the rules is, which turns out to be very amusing, if you get fouled, you call it. There are no refs. All I can say is, what a bunch of cry babies some of them were. But not my dad...if he gets bumped around, he will give it right back. Loved watching every minute of it.
Get out of my way, I'm trying to shoot
My dad, with the ball
My ball, I'm getting it
My dad, running after the ball
Here it comes to you basket
My dad, shooting the ball
Game over yet guys, getting a little tired
My dad, with a quick resting moment
Hey pops, you didn't tell me you played with
Abe Lincoln
My dad, behind Mr.Lincoln
My sweet daddy-o
Proud of my dad
More to come...hoping to see Molli this evening
