Thursday, Beautiful Day

This has  been a wonderful day.  Not really much to report, went into Parker...a town near Tina's, and faxed some insurance papers at their library.  Wow, what a library, huge, well organized, and extremely busy.   Would like to go back with more time to explore.  Then had lunch out.  Next stop was Walmart, then home.  Kids were napping and Tina was watching one of Jessie's dogs Stella, while the other, Rusty was visiting the vet.  The day ended with dinner, a little reading, Vince Flynn, Kill Shot, and a little blogging.  I know it's been a few days, just don't seem to do much to talk about.

Still having an awesome time here with Tina and her family.  Mike is salmon fishing in Alaska this week.  Don't know if I have told you, but Mike is having a 1939 Chevy restored and Tim is sort of overseeing the project.  Just sort of.  It does give Tim something to do most days.  He goes to the shop, observes the progress, and probably talks a lot.  You know how guys are when they start talking about cars and trucks.  It's never ending.  Kind a like getting us girls together, we can sure talk a barrel full.

Just thought of a fun experience I had on Tuesday, went to help Jessie in her classroom.  She has 32 students and no assistant, and teaching first grade.  She looped her last years kindergarten class.  School started here a couple weeks ago.  What a great bunch of kids.  Loved them all.  Can't wait to go back next week.  As I was leaving,  one little fellow said,  bye auntie...so cute.  Sure brought back memories!!!!!

Our plans are still to leave here after Labor Day, heading down toward Albuquerque.  Tim may need to fly back some to keep tabs on Mikes truck.

Hope y'all's lives are as rich and happy as mine.
Life is good

Did make some changes for our travels.  After Albuquerque, we are heading back east to Smmerdale, Al where we stayed in the spring.  Should be there Nov thru Feb.   Then homeward bound to beautiful North Carolina, March 15---October 15, on to Daytona for the winter of 2013.
