Thursday, Friday Happy Days

So sorry Molli I missed Thursday, but grandpa left the computer in the coach and it was midnight when I was going to report in.  Just didn't want to go walking in the dark to get it.  You know they have coyote here in beautiful Colorado.  You wouldn't want them to get me.

Here I go...Thursday,  picked Julie up from preschool, then headed for the airport to get Jeannie. It was so wonderful seeing her beautiful smile, walking out to meet us.  Had lunch at Red Robin.  I had a yummy BBQ chicken salad.  I recommend it...then on to the grocery, then home.  Tina made an enchilada dish for dinner.  Again, yummmmmmmmy was the only word for it.  She is a really good cook.  I might add, Tina is very good at everything.  Love her to pieces.  After dinner, we had to take Tina's car in to the dealer for repair of the windshield.  So I  drove the truck to haul everyone back home.  This means driving on I-25 at rush hour.  A TOTAL BEAR!!!   And you know the phrase, if you don't use it, you'll lose it.  Well, a busy interstate is not a place I drive anymore.  Actually, I drive very little.  Three times in the last 47 days.  Before that, hardly ever. Tim always chauffeurs me around.  But thankfully, we made it home safely.

Now, it's Friday, started the morning by feeding the horses, then my coffee was greatly needed.  Then a quicky breakfast.  Mike came back from his Alaska fishing trip today, with 100 pounds of salmon, so Tina had an early run to the airport.   We played with Owen and Julie in their new play area.  It still amazes me.  Such an awesome piece of work.  `Anyway, played till lunchtime.  Then went in and fixed lunch and took it to the theater room and watched Toy Story 3.  What a cute show that was.  Next came naps.  Then girl/sister talk.  Oh my gosh, fun, fun, fun.  Another trip on I-25 to pick up Tina's car.  Traffic was worse than to day before, so coming back, we drove the back roads.  Quick stop at the grocery for dinner...freshly caught salmon, new potatoes, broccoli, cucumbers and tomatoes, red peppers, watermelon, cantaloupe.  That salmon was so delish, can't wait for the next meal with it.  After dinner, watched video of Mikes fishing trip. Sounds like a busy day, huh.  Oh, can't forget to say a word or to about tonight's blue moon.  Tim has talked about it all week.  We actually thought the moon was going to look a little blue, somehow.  NO!!!!!  Just meant 2 full moons in one month. If anyone missed this amazing sight, a big bright yellow ball, I'll post a pic of it.

That's about it for now,  hoping everyone's day was as great as mine.
