Hoping y'all have enjoyed this glorious day with family and or friends. We are blessed to be back at this time so we could share this special day with Jacki and Geoff. Spent most of the day with them and their babies. All six of them. I can tell old age is creeping up on Odysee, Murphy, and even Angel is slowing down some. We had an awesome time. Geoff fixed yummy burgers and brats. I made potato salad, per Jacki's request. And I had pumpkin pie to bring but forgot it. Stinks to have senior moments like that.
Jacki works with a dog rescue group in Mooresville and the owner stopped by today. She had her puppy, a rot. Jacki had fostered him and his sister for about a month. Suzi, the Rescue owner adopted the him and named him, Preacher. Some name. He was sooo cute and a little feisty. Maggi and Preacher played together the entire time Suzi was there. They were very entertaining.
Yesterday Tim and I had lunch out on the patio. First time we did that since our trip to Nebraska. And that was in June. We have not had good weather for it since we have been in NC. But the weather is starting to inspire more lunches out. Love it! We were being amused by a hawk flying high in the sky looking for it's lunch...a fish from Lake Norman. The hawk would spot one, hover over the perfect location, then dive straight into the water and come up with lunch gripped by its fierce claws. Off it went flying beyond the trees and out of sight. Soooo much fun to watch. There are lots of birds and ducks here. A pair of mockingbirds are building a nest in a bush right in front of the coach. Yep, I will be spending lots of time watching their progress and enjoying the beautiful songs they sing.
Still working on the coach. Trying to find a home for everything is a challenge. I refuse to let it get the best of me.
Guess that's it for now.

Check out Jacki's Easter egg toes
Each toe is a different color
Jacki trying to help her dad's hurting knee with electric pulse
Not really sure of the proper name for it
No, it didn't help
Guess his knee is just worn out
That's what happens with a 70 year old knee

All for today.
Life is good
God is great
