Friday, Catch Up Day

Here I go again, trying to recall a week of happenings.   All mostly being in Castle Rock, Tina's home.  I had written a whole page on Tuesday, and wouldn't you know it, my page went black.  Actually it went white.  Lost it all.  Almost 3 hours down the drain.  That is very discouraging for me.  That's over now.  It's a new day.  Life is great.  I'll do my best to relive the last 7 days. 

I will start with Saturday night and the play.  As always Les Miserables was stupendous.  And as always, I see something I had not seen before, or heard a word or phrase in a song I recognize better.  Shed a few more tears than before.  Crazy me.  It was just the best.  Sharing it with Tina was also the best.

We had dinner along the way, Noodles and Company. Mac and cheese, one of my faves was my choice.  And now, I can't recall Tinas.  I do remember it was what she usually orders. All was yummy!!!    When we were driving to the parking garage, we noticed the area surrounding the theatre had lots of tents set up.  To our good fortune, it was an art festival.  Since we were about 30 minutes ahead of schedule, you guessed it.  Off we went, oo and ahing everything.  It was so much fun.
Off to the play we go.  We had great seats for the play.  Great job Tina.  A marvelous evening we both had. 

Sunday, Tina and Mike had a graduation bbq to attend, so I tagged along.  I did know the young man.  That made it ok for me.  Monday, well not really sure of most the day.  I DO remember getting to ride in Mikes new 1939 chevy pick up.  That was soooo exciting.  IT IS A BAD RIDE.  You will see.  Tuesday, Tina had a dr appointment so Jessie came to help watch Owen and Julie.  That was lots of fun also.  Wednesday was my go home day.  boo hoo. 

Sinced being home, mostly did a little of this and that.  Just normal stuff...catch up on laundry and cleaning.  Hope I haven't left anything out.  Forgive me if I have.  I will let my pics do the rest of the talking...enjoy the show!!!!!  ha ha

Saturday, Colorado Dreamin'

Hey y'all, coming to you from beautiful Castle Rock CO.  We are a mile high closer to the sun.  A gorgeous day today is, sunny, a tad of breeze, and very warm.  Almost perfection!  I arrived yesterday, had an awesome flight, then lunch with Jessie and Tina.  Next, Tina and I went to tour a few model homes.  She is in the process of gathering info on remodeling her home.  Man, what fun that was visiting million dollar plus homes.  Tina will be changing her contemporary style home to mountain elegant.  Not really sure of that name, but love what they are wanting to do.

Tina and I are going to a play tonight, Les Miserable in downtown Denver.  Am sooooo excited.  Dinner first,  then the play.  Again, as it was with my Orlando trek, pics will come once I return home.  That may be Wednesday.  So please return on Thursday for the viewing.  I will try to post daily events.

This morning took a couple shots of the sunrise.  Then returning back in, the big bright moon was facing me.  Yes of course, I had to get some images of the man in the moon also.  God's gifts are so amazing.

Almost time to go to the play.  Hoping y'all's Memorial Day weekend will be as special as mine is.

Thursday, Update

This is an amazing update.  I know y'all remember the two beautiful great dane show dogs I met in Charlotte last year.  Well, Mr. Earl Shore, trainer and handler of them emailed me with Cody's proper name.  It is Grand Champion Lobato's Code Red.  I am trying to download Cody's pic.  Thank you Mr. Shore for the info and it looks like correction.  That is if I understood your note.

Thursday, Orlando Update

Good morning to y'all on the beginning of this Memorial Day Weekend!  Praying for a safe and fun time for each of you.  I returned home Monday evening from my sister Jeannie in Orlando.  I can say that my time with her was amazing.  I experienced a few firsts.  I will be sharing those and other fantastic events through my pics.  Although they may not be top quality, they are what they are.  As you view them remember the description for each...AMAZING, FABULOUS, GLORIOUS.

Before I sign off, just wanted to share my trip to the Charlotte airport.  As we were traveling down Hwy 150 to Hwy 16 to I 485 we had the and  I do mean THE most gorgous sunrise.  It totally encompassed our entire sky...in front of us, both sides and the back.  And of course my camera was packed away in my luggage.  Hoping y'all were up early on the 16th and able to share in it.  Totally amazing!!!!!  God sent me off on a beautiful note and delivered back safely on the same.  He is wonderful!!!!
