Wednesday, Hot Hot Hot

I believe today was a taste of what August will be like.   It must have been in the mid 90s.  And for the first time this year, our air conditioner is on.  It's 8:00 and 84 inside and out.  Wow!!  Way to hot for a 70 year old to be push mowing for 8 hours.  Thankfully tomorrow is not supposed to be as hot.  We may have a few clouds and a little more wind.  Tomorrow is Tim's Friday.  Yahoo for that.

Because of this horrible heat and sunshine, we went out to get Tim a better hat to deal with this weather.  He was so funny.  But we succeeded.

I will be leaving tomorrow for a few days, going to Orlando to visit my sis Jeannie.  She and I are going to attend a musical concert by THIRD DAY, a christian group.  I am so excited. 

Had a first for dinner tonight.  Crock pot cooking outside with chicken, salsa, and green chiles.  Then took whole wheat tortillas and baked them and made chips.  Yummy.  The hottest day of the year and I'm baking.  Something is wrong with this pic.  But soooo delish.

Still reliving my super duper Sunday with Jacki and Geoff.  Thanks guys, you are the best!
