Oh man, my title...Happy Sunday just hit rock bottom. I had around three paragraphs completed when a window popped up saying, oops an error has occurred. Oops is right! Lost it all. But since this is a happy Sunday, will try to recreate it with a smile on my face. Now, lets see, something about yesterday's rain from 3:00 am to around 6:00 pm. It would let up a little, we with dogs, would dash out but by the walk home, rain again. Not today! It has been heavenly. A little overcast in the morning, then sun sun sun. Love it. Its about 7:00 and still sunny. Dinner is over, dishes done, and chatting with y'all, my favorite folks. Life is good!!!
I stopped by Jacki's after lunch. We sat by the pool and watched Maggie play in the water. She is so funny. Next time I will try to remember my camera. Jacki is recovering great from her surgery. Thanks for your prayers. She is going to work tomorrow. Will see how she does.
Tim is off for the next 4 days...yahoo! He worked on removing or I should say preparing to remove the old frig yesterday and today. What a bear! I'm thinking the repair man who charges $95.00 an hour, well worth it. But, Tim is doing it all, with a little help from the muscle men who worked getting the new frig through the window. Thank goodness for family and friends. Not too much longer and my house will be back to normal.
Have I told y'all I purchased a new little vacuum? If I have sorry, but I want to let share with you, the joy and fun, I have with it. It's really like a toy and I'm a big kid playing with it. Go figure. I'm just crazy. The little things in life can sure mean a lot. Oh, and by the way, it's orange. My second fav color. Course y'all know #1 is lime green.
I'm babbling aren't I. Sorry, I'll stop and close for now. Hoping today has been as pleasant for you as it has been for me.
Remember the automated flagger story

Thursday, What A Day
Today has been a very fulfilled day. Started around 9:00 am at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen. Totally busy till we left at 1:30ish. Pat had company so it was just Drew and myself. We started by picking up trash and pulling weeds. After that, we worked inside doing this and that. We start serving the elderly and handicapped at 11:00. After they are served, the rest of the folks pick up their meals themselves. Kitchen closes at 12:00. The fun really starts after that...cleaning. ha ha. That will usually take little over an hour, depending on the amount of volunteers. We were even asked to drop off things at the mission in Mooresville. Took a few minutes to find it. Lots of traffic on 150 leaving Mooresville.
Returning home Jacki called and Geoff wanted to come over early and help Tim put the new frig through the window of our coach. After organizing the other crew to help us with this project, called Jacki back and all was confirmed. By 3:30 the window was out and new frig was in. It is almost 8:00 pm and I now have cold orange juice. That's all I have in it at this time. Will transfer all tomorrow.
This has been a very full blessed day. Hoping y'alls was also. Also hoping to have some sunset images for you later.
A morning shot of the gorgeous full moon
Tim installing the hinges for the doors
Putting the final screws in for the door handle
Working on the freezer door handle
My two cents worth
Putting in drawers and shelves
The only color in the sky tonight
Beautiful
Pat took some pics of the guys taking the window out and hauling the new frig in through it. She emailed them to me, I saved them to the computer, now can't locate them. Will continue trying later. Never give up.

Wednesday, A Big First Day
Today has been a great day. Good trip to the doc. On the way while passing a construction area, there was an automated flagger. Have y'all seen one before? For those who have not, let me try to explain. Instead of having flagmen stopping traffic, there was an electronic arm going up and down. My description of it is not very good. We are going by it tomorrow just to get a photograph. So come back tomorrow and check it out.
My second first was having sushi. Jacki loves it. She has been inside since the weekend, recouping from surgery, and wanted to get out of the house. She wanted to have sushi for dinner. So off we went. OK, it wasn't too bad. I had a guacamole roll. It was made with baked tilapia, deep fried onion strips, and the yummiest fresh guacamole, maybe other things not sure. I would have to acquire a taste for this. I had a couple bites of Jacki's, not sure what she had. One bite was so spicy, it burned my month to pieces. The other bite was not bad. I now can say I've had sushi.
Our new frig was delivered today. It's sitting outside our coach. Will be brought in tomorrow evening. I hope! We bought a floor model from Lowe's that had a small dent on the front. Someone sold that one. So we happily excepted a new one. Pics on that tomorrow as well.
That's it for today.

Tuesday, Back Up Day
I am a week behind. I know, sometimes it just happens. Last Wednesday, Jacki had Thyroid surgery. She is doing ok. Still sore throat, shoulder muscles tight, but coming along. She's a trooper.
We've had a couple dr visits. Tim is going in tomorrow for lab work. Things are A Ok with us so far. This morning Tim climbed on top of coach to give it a bath. Man, it was soooo dirty. We kept getting white streaks running down the sides of the coach whenever it rained hard. And we all know it has rained plenty. He has one side so shiny, I could put my mascara on using it as a mirror. Tim will complete the project tomorrow when he returns from the dr. That is if he's not too weak from giving blood. Ha ha, just a joke. Tim has played Mr. Fixit lately. We have a newer tv outside than the one in the living room. So Tim brought it in and was going to trade them out. Nothing is as easy as it seems. It was not a success, but he is not finished yet. The trouble is in the cable wiring.
We are having our new frig delivered tomorrow. Then Thursday evening, Geoff is coming over to help get the frig in the coach. The door is too small for the frig to fit through. Guess where it is coming in...dining room window. That's right. Tim has to remove the window and hopefully the frig, without its doors, will make it in that way. The old one is just a little wider than the new one, so I say get the chain saw out and chop up the baby. That way the pieces will easily fit through the door. Time will tell. I will photo the entire project for you. It is very overwhelming for me. Maybe I need to take a trip. Then when I return, presto...out with the old and in with the new. Nah, that's not fair to Tim. I'll stick it out. Maybe I can be of some help.
There are probably events I am forgetting to share with y'all. So when they want to pop out of this old noggin of mine, you'll be the first to know.

Tuesday, Peach of a Day
Today has had very little flaws. Sort of a peach of a day. Started with laundry at the park laundromat. They have 2 washers and 2 dryers. Both were empty. Many times I go down and they will both be in use. But not today. As I returned back home, my cell was ringing. It was my super duper friend, Lori. We met in Alabama our first trip to the Gulf Shores and again this past winter. We keep in touch through email, but don't chat that often. We had a lot of catching up to do. Our talk was just peachy. I sure miss you Lori. Some day again we will be together.
I had a foot dr visit this afternoon. Guess I can say by by to my left big toenail. I thought the doc would give me some cream for it and send me on my way. Had no idea he would just take it off. Now we can start fresh with no more fungus. Could have been worse. The dr office was close to Chick-fil-A, so I stopped off to get a giant 1/2 and 1/2 tea with lemon. They have the best of the best. Will have to call it a peachy drink.
Tim had the coach very cool when I returned. Quite peachy of him. Finished my tea, started on dinner. Headed for Jacki's after dishes. On my trip home the western sky was lit up with unbelievable color. Could not wait to get home and capture the sky in all it's glory. I did manage to shoot a couple images of the magnificent oranges...pinks...yellow...cream.
Hope y'all had a peachy day also!!!

Monday, Just a Day
Hey y'all out there in this beautiful world. Hoping your day was super duper. Mine was. We have had mostly sun today, with a tiny bit of breeze now and then, and some kind of humidity. Cannot be in North Carolina and not have sticky humidity smack you in the face. That's just the way it is.
Tim is off for the next four days...yahoooooo! He spent the morning of his first day off in the drs office. And why did I think we had to use July only to schedule all our medical appointments ? I am finding out that was a mistake. We will have been in NC 7 months before moving on. I have one tomorrow afternoon. One next week. I wished I had scheduled one a month. My thoughts were to get them all done in one month. It is doable, but I'm tired of drs already. There I go complaining again. Sorry, I will stop.
Not complaining, just sharing...our frig is no longer keeping food cold enough. The freezer works well, but not the frig. Weighing the cost to repair and the cost to replace with a residential frig, I now am the proud owner of a new black whirlpool frig. Yahoo....except this was not in my budget at this time. You do what you gotta do. Very thankful I was able to do it.
I did a first tonight. Made spaghetti and veggi meatballs in the microwave. It was actually very yummy. Will tweak it a little, but definitely serve it again.
Almost missed the sunset tonight. Pat came and got my camera to take pics for me cause she knew I was on the phone. She loves the sunset almost as much as me.
That's about it for today.
Not really sure what floating devise this is.
I'm calling it a barge.
I know, Lake Norman doesn't usually have barges traveling around especially in a cove.
Interesting, whatever it is
This is southwest skies
What a beauty
Beautiful
Almost a miss
Still love it
A little is better than none
And a slither of the moon
Mixed with the pink clouds
Takes a real man to be surrounded by pink
Really pink using the naked eye to view this image
It was very awesome

Sunday, Day of Rest
Today was one of those days when nothing was accomplished. Nothing was even attempted by me. Tim did work his 8 hrs. But me, not so much. I did walk Ava around the park many times trying to get her to do her business. Did not accomplish that. I was in the dog park for the last time when Drew cruised down the hill on his bike. Yahoo!!! Now, Ava will get her job done.
I just returned from the grocery. When I walked out Food Lion's door, I looked toward the sky and there was the most beautiful double rainbow. The inner rainbow was wider and brighter than any I have ever seen. Can't describe its beauty. I will say it was glorious. That's a little down play. But the best I can do. The rain pounded my head, and my heart was beating as fast as it could. I stood in awe...amazed.
Do y'all remember my bellyaching about the rain? Never again... I would not have been able to experience such beauty if it wasn't for the rain and the sun.
This day started with rain. After lunch we saw and felt the great big bright brilliant sun up in the beautiful Carolina blue sky. It only lasted a short time. More downpours. Then sun again. As the rain beat down on my jeep leaving Food Lion, the campground was total dry. How different it can be only about 7 minutes away.
The only pics I have to share tonight are that of the sky. Am so sorry I did not have my camera with me to capture that glorious double rainbow. I am so going to try to retain that magnificent image in my mind. I know, good luck with that. With help I can.
Enjoy today's beautiful sky over Sherrills Ford.

Saturday, Awesome Day
Everyday can be awesome. Just pick out the beauty in what you see. I'm trying to find beauty in the gray skies. In the rain falling down from the gray skies. The rain and all those gray yucky clouds are keeping us out of a drought. I could be sitting under a sky with 100 temp or more. But 76 with a cool breeze is rather refreshing. I am finding the beauty. Always think positive. And the best will shine through for all of us to see. Awesome
I was with Jacki today at an adopt a pet fair in Mooresville. Anytime I'm with Jacki, it is awesome. Tim told a lady at our park about a dog at the adoption fair. He is the cutest white fluff ball Maltese you ever did see. An awesome little pup. Guess they are all cute. Can't imagine why his previous owners did not want him or maybe just could not care or keep him any longer. Cotton now belongs to an awesome family that will love him and care for him forever. I will get an photo of him tomorrow.
I was a bit tired when Tim got off work. So we sat out under the gray skies for a while I rested before starting dinner. You know what happens when you sit a little too long. That's right, I did not want to cook then. Another awesome event happened. Tim was a sweetie and took us out to eat. Guess that makes Tim pretty awesome also.
I have been dog sittin for Drew today. Pat also watched Ava while I was out. I just walked her for her last trip out tonight. Before Ava's walk, I had Cleo out also for her last potty break of this awesome day.
I have been waiting for a glimpse of the sunset, but not a chance tonight. I did get a couple sightings of color through these thick dark gray blankets of clouds. The sky has so many shades of gray tonight. Again, guess that could be awesome if one likes the color gray. I used to before the last twenty days. I'm not seeing any lightning, but thunder is drumming all around me. Think I better head indoors while I'm still dry.
Picture time...
