We have had terrible Internet service all week. I hope I can finish this post before it fails. I want to say that the last two days have been awesome. Today better than yesterday. I could live where today was everyday. I spent some of today down on the dock. I had my music, ipad, morning reading, cold water, my cell, sunscreen, and my camera. I even had early morning breakfast, Tina's oats, down there. I am so blessed. Had my crock pot filled with beef stew cooking. Around two, I came back to make a FIRST for me...guacamole. Holy Moly, it was so good. So sorry for Tim, he doesn't like it. Jacki and Geoff were planning on coming over today and that was going to be our little snack before dinner. Jacki said at one of her visits, where's our munchies. That time I did not prepare any. So, never again...my baby will always have some goodies to nibble on while dinner is getting ready. Guess what, they had to postpone their trip over because of being in the middle of laying new flooring in their downstairs. Now, that was ok, yes I'm sad, but it's ok. But not my guacamole. It is a dish that needs to be eaten soon after preparation, maybe a delay of an hour for chilling. And it was soooooo delicious. I'm not even trying to save it. I dished up some, bagged a few tortilla chips, and shared them with fellow campers. I know what my dessert will be tonight. I will make a new batch tomorrow and pray it turns as yummmmmy. Jacki and Geoff, we and the guacamole sure hope to see y'all tomorrow. I cherish every minute I get to be with her and Geoff.
The past few days have been normal, not much happening kind of days. I did go to the dr for my yearly checkup. Pasted with flying colors. Did have a bone scan done. Results coming next week along with scheduling the famous colonoscopy. That will be my first. Oh, did I hear y'all say...
to much info. Got it. Moving on.
We had an enjoyable surprise visit yesterday from Tim J and his son, Caleb. Tim is our adopted son for at least 20 + years. It's been a while, maybe the last time we were here, since seeing him. If you put the two Tims together, there is always lots of laughter. Loved seeing them, and hopefully we will get the chance to be with the rest of his family, Tonya, Alec, Ashton, and Addison.
Gonna call it quits for now. Don't want to press my luck with the Internet before I post some pics.
Hoping y'all's day was as glorious as mine.
Tim's payback to me for taking pics of him while working on something
Really Tim, me cleaning the bathroom floor
Payback stinks
Wednesday night sunset
So awesome, I have a few images
Amazingly awesome
Almost looks like fire and smoke
Spectacular
Astonishing
Have at least 10 more, but will stop
I do LOVE my sky
Yes Tim, it's me
I told you it was me!
My first visitor of the morning
Across the lake home owners using their shepherd to chase the Canada Geese away
Action on Lake Norman
A dad pulling his daughter on a tube
Mallard ducks scooting by
And several, but only captured two Canada geese coming in for a landing
More visitors
This must be a new sport
And another
Anyone knowing the correct name, please drop me a line
I would call it surfless surfing
Some campers staying here at Lake Norman Resort
And a kayak in the background
Had to share some sky photos
What image can you distinguish
And again
Look close and you will see a jet between the two puffs
Thank you for not being a rain cloud
It really was dark
Tim snoozing during lunch
He must have worked sooo hard
Caleb and Cleo
He's a handsome dude, like his dad
Catching up on the latest
A happy crew
Can't beat family
Thanks Tonya for following us
Means a lot
That's it for today, unless I capture a gorgeous sunset. Then I'll be back.....
Life is good
God is Love
Nite all
PS

The finale
Good night again!
