Tuesday, I'm Back, Again
Sitting here in not so sunny Daytona Beach Florida. It's warm...81, and a bit breezey. Tim is back from Ohio. He says he had an ok time. I went to Jeannie's the day Tim left for Ohio and brought her back to spend the night with me. That was lots of fun. We watched two episodes of Scandal after dinner at Cracker Barrel. I had another first...green tomato soup. We both did. Believe it or not, it was very yummmmmmmy!!! On Saturday we shopped til we dropped. Literally. Started the day off at Waffle House with tea and pecan waffles. That was very early, probably before six, so we went back home to organize our day. Waited til around nineish, guess that's a word, before leaving again. Then we visited Michael's, JoAnn's, World Market, and Big Lots. They were all in the same strip. A few purchases were made. Well, maybe more than a few. I'll show them to you with pics. At least my treasures. Jeannie did some Christmas shopping. Lunch time rolled around so we chose Panera Bread for some Mac and Cheese. Oh my gosh, it was sooooo good. Yes, I/we love to eat. After lunch, we went somewhere else. Can't remember now. Then back home cause Stretch was coming over to work on our tv/cable system. And yahoo, I now have 97 channels to watch. THANKS SO MUCH STRETCHIE POO!!! Your the best! Because he was so gracious to help us out, I let him choose our dinner location. It was Mexican theme...Lime something. It was good, as well. The staff was 5 star. Best ever. Jeannie and Stretch brought me back home and off they went, heading back to Orlando. The rest of the evening I spent watching tv.
Tim returned home Monday afternoon. The flights worked out well for him. Hurray for that! As we pulled into our site, Tim spotted a familiar truck parked by our coach. It was one of his old North Carolina car buddies. Pat stayed the rest of the afternoon. He is really a funny guy. Makes me happy being around him.
That brings me to today. If I think of something I missed sharing with y'all, will do it another time.
Today was a down day. Normal cleaning, and I did go to the park laundromat to dry Cleo's blankets. We watched the new campers coming in, nine was supposed to arrive. Twenty more for tomorrow. The car show starts on Thursday.
I'll end this note with a few pics.

Thursday, I'm Back
Well hello to all my family and friends out there. I'm back from Ohio. I had a marvelous time. It was so wonderful being with Danny, my little bro. Two years is way tooooooo long to be apart. We stayed with Charlotte and as Danny put it, her house is just like being home. I usually try to go back to Ohio a couple times a year. Being with Beth and Joe was also great. It really was so much loving fun being with one of my sisters and both brothers. We spent quality time with Dad. His 89th birthday was celebrated at Marion's Pizza in Dayton with all his babies there. No matter how old we are, we are still Dad's sweet babies. I think the last time we were all together was on Father's Day 2009 or 2010. Way too long ago.
The other biggy event that happened while I was in Ohio that was biting cold when I was there. Three letters GUS!!!!!!! My great grandbaby. Gus is now 5 months old. He is absolutely a masterpiece! Laughs all the time. He is precious. And of course there is Trace. Unfortunately Trace was sick while I was there. I was able to be with him a couple times. And loved every minute of it. Trace is 20 months old and he is so funny. He does not like his picture taken. Will turn his head every time. Love him and Gus so much.
Not much has happened since I've been home. We drive to the beach about every other day and watch the boats. Not too many folks on the beach. The campground here has guests that usually spend a night or two. So not much bonding going on for us. We will be leaving Daytona Beach Dec 1 heading to Bella Terra RV Resort in Foley AL. We will stay there until May 1. Have cancelled our Montana trip for now. So not sure what is in store for us after Alabama. We will be working on that and let you know when we know. I like to have plans.
Will share a few pics...internet not the greatest so will only download a bit
Forgot to mention, Tim is doing ok. Again not where he wants to be. But working on it. And me, just fine. Happy as a bug in a rug!!!
Check out this awesome face
Love you Gus
Gus and Uncle Danny

Thursday, Beautiful Buckeye State...Ohio
Just a quickie update...been in Ohio since Tuesday. Baby brother Danny is here also. Having a great time. We are staying with Chatlotte. I arrived late Tuesday might. Had a wonderful flight. From Daytona to Charlotte the flight time seemed like only minutes instead of about an hour fifteen minutes. The passenger beside me chatted with me the entire flight. She, Joy, was going to visit her daughter who lives only minutes from my dad. Joy is from a small town near Middletown...Trenton. She was such a delight. She had a 2 1/2 hour layover from Charlotte to Dayton. I did not. I had about ten minutes. After rushing down the concourse to my gate18, which was 15 gates from where I landed...made it. They were loading standbys already and I was next to the last getting on. But I made it. I was in seat row 17. There was 18 rows on the plane. Noisey to say the least, but on and heading home to my family that I had not seen in almost a year. Way too long. Danny picked me up and off we went to Charlottes.
Yesterday we had lunch with big brother Joe and sister in law Linda at one of our favorite restaurants, Fricsh's I had one of my usuals, fish sandwich, onion rings and vanilla coke. The sandwich was as good as ever but throw the onion rings in the trash. Horrible. But not to Joe. He munched on them till they were gone. Thanks Joe, I sure don't like to waste.
For dinner, we met at a pizza place, Marion's. My sister Beth and her family, and my sweet daddy and stepmom met us. Joe, Linda, and Danny were there also. Great time and great pizza. I love to be with my family.
Today I'm going to see my dad then again back to Charlottes for dinner with her family. Can't wait.
I will share pic of my trip when I return home. It is 6:23 am and I am in dire need of a cup of coffee. I will return for more happenings.
I miss you Timmy boy! Enjoy the boats and the water. See ya on Saturday.
Have a wonderful day!

Monday, Great Day Again
I love days when most all goes just the you want it to. My morning had a little hiccup...I was signing up for new insurance. Same insurance, but with different company and a tad more money. But very happy the state is still taking care of the majority of it. Waiting on hold for close to an hour, but in the end it is a done deal.
Tim wanted to visit the waterway again today. So I packed lunch and a bag of necessities and off we went. Had a great time. Stayed until dinner time. Hooters was giving veterans a free meal today, Yahoo for Hooters. And my veteran wanted a free meal, right. Yummmmmmy food. I had fish and onion rings. Tim chose wings and fries. Another fun time.
I had a few emails to answer tonight along with a couple texts. It's getting late, I'm tired. So I will post pics to show my exciting day.
Enjoy...
Just a tinsie bit of a glimpse of this mornings sunrise
The next few photos will be of a few pelicans who were showing off for me
I'll stop there...just love them
Driving up to the Main Street Draw Bridge in Daytona
Hey Tim, I think we can go now
A catamaran closing in on the bridge...open up please
Look close, she's going thru
And down goes the bridge
Love it
Tonight's amazing sunset
A few more blushing pink clouds
Cleo sitting on her daddy's lap, happy to have us home
My new piece of art
More to come on this
Don't think I shared it before
Love it
That's it for tonight...

Saturday, Great Day
This has been a crazy great day for me. Woke up with Jeannie and our 4 mugs of tea. Had an early visitor Liz, Jeannie's dear friend. Another mug of tea and great friendship was shared by us. Before leaving for Daytona, we stopped at one of Jeannie's favorite shops and also mine, Family Christian Store. That was fun. Next we stopped for a cup of iced pumpkin spice/white chocolate coffee. Yummmmmmy! Then we headed for Daytona to Tim and Cleo. Jeannie and Stretch took a tour of our new...to us, coach. Lunch was rolling around the corner and Jeannie wanted fried pickles from Hooters. So, Hooters it was. Now, this was another first for me. And man, were those fried pickles the best ever. We were all pleased with the choices we made for lunch. Pics will be below. We had an awesome time.
Our next stop, sadly, was NAPA. My sunny jeep needed a new battery. Man, it is always something. $125.00 and an hour later, we were heading home crying in our beer. So to speak, not literally. I do thank God for letting us be able to purchase one.
That's about it for today. Please come back tomorrow to see what develops.
Friday night sunset at Jeannie's
What a beauty
Another beauty
This is Milo, Jeannie and Stretch's orange kitty
Another beauty, Sapphire
And this is Shadow
A big black bad boy
Also a bit blurry
Next time I'm over at Jeannie's I'll take a better shot of him
He is really a beautiful cat
My darling sweet sis, Jeannie
Lunch at Hooters
Buffalo Chicken
Wings
Patty Melt
Baja Burger
Would have photographed the fried pickles, but the plate was empty when I remembered pictures
We were standing in front of the Ohio State Buckeye's corner
I wanted Tim and Stretch to be in this pic and not me
But this was fun
A new battery for Ms Sunny Jeep
That's it for today guys

Friday In Orlando
Hello y'all out there in this beautiful world. I'm visiting my sis Jeannie in Orlando for a couple days. We are about an hour apart. Arrived yesterday. Have no plans to do any activities. Just chillin together, listening to our Jesus music, munchin on snacks, watching a little tv. Really being together with not much distractions is wonderful. She had to make a trip to her work, so thought I would use this opportunity to chat a minute.
Tim and I are going good. He is using this month to continue his rehab. We have been to Daytona beach a couple times. We spent Wednesday at a city park there by the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. That was lots of fun. Have many pics from there. Will post them when I return home.
As well as some photos from here.
Continue praying for my friend Lori. She is on her to the Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston. This will be her second stay there. She was in remission almost 2 years. But the devastating "C" returned. We met during my first visit to Alabama. She and husband Don, were parked next to us.
It was like love at first sight with us. We just meshed. Like sisters. I love being with her and miss her terribly. We were together again last winter. Our plans didn't work for this winter. Love you girlfriend.
More to come, either tonight or tomorrow.

Have a great day

Tuesday, Great Morning
Good morning to each of y'all. Sitting at Racetrack KOA enjoying this beautiful bright and cheerful morning. Hoping you are having the same great morning as we are. We had our coffee outside watching many small prop planes flying overhead to land at Daytona Airport. It is only minutes from us. That will sure be handy next week when I fly to Ohio. My plans are to leave on Monday and return Friday. Not to comfortable leaving Tim any longer at this time. He is doing good now, just not 100% yet.
I strolled around the park a couple times this morning. I'm really out of shape. Am planning on working hard this month to exercise more.
Spent the weekend unpacking and settling in. Tim can work around better than he can sit. So he worked a little and reclined a little.
Yesterday, we drove to the beach, Daytona...Ormond...Beverly,and Flager. They are all on the same road, just a few miles apart. We were gone way to long. Tim was in misery by the time we arrived home. His biggest problem now is sitting. Praying time will heal that. Quick time. His condition will play a huge part in our future. Our plans may need to change. And that's ok. It's hard to be happy when you are hurting. So happiness rules all.
No plans to leave the park today. Recouping from yesterday. Tim's piddling around the coach. Me, I'm writing y'all. Just about done. Will share my beach and misc pics with you. If other interesting happening occurs, will come back and share those.
Have an awesome day..............
This tree is next to our coach. It has something like a pineapple top growing off a branch.
Very strange
Tina, this looks like the bronco at your airport, only unpainted
And no red eyes
Here is the other side
Let me know what you think
Heading across the bridge toward Daytona Beach
Daytona Beach with ruff high tides, cloudy skies, and breezy
Wrong, this photo is Ormond Beach
Ormond Beach Park, lonely lifeguard, no one on the beach but me
Two pics above have the same sky, so must be Ormond Beach

Should have started Ormond Beach pics with this one

So beautiful here, Ormond Beach
Who is this beach bummette
The next photos are of different campgrounds ocean front with barriers
Going to have to take notes of location

And again, Beverly Beach
Flagler Beach

Had lunch at Betty's Café
Homecookin...Monday special, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and carrots
I really can't say yummmmmy
Just ok, mystery meat in the meatloaf
Inside Betty's Café
I believe Betty collected angels
Every room was encircled with them
Lori, this photo is for you
As we were parking, this trike pulled up next to us
Two motorcycle mommas were on board
Interesting
Final pic, not good beach picture
Really high surfs with the high tide
Leaving Daytona Beach
DON SMART this is for you
Look what the ocean salt water did in just a matter of 4 days
My beautiful sunny yellow jeep is now dull tan, black top faded to brown,
And RUST, RUST, RUST
You were soooooo RIGHT!
Love you guys!!!
Ok, that's it for now. May be back later.
