Happy Father's Day to each dad

 

Jacki and Geoff took Tim out to dinner last night.  We all had a great time.  Geoff is heading to Alaska this morning.  He will be escaping our heat for a week.  Tim gets another dinner out with Jacki tonight.  They are going to Big Daddys, Tims favorite.

 

 

I tried to get to Ohio for my dad, but didn't make it.  Sat at the airport for two days with no luck.  Flying standby on a holiday and now with school out and vacations starting is almost impossible.  Next time I try it will be on a Tuesday or Wednesday.  Maybe I'll have better luck.

 

We had a really bad storm Thursday evening.  Knocked out the internet at the park.  Repaired and back now.

 

That brings us to today.  It's a beautiful day here in NC.  Parks crowded, but they are slowly pulling out.  It's really tight between sites, so leaving is always a chore.  We are on the top tier, and we have a great view of most sites.  I saw the bow and arrow fish hunters early this morning.  Pontoons and jet skis are out and about.  We are just going to take it easy today.  Hope y'all do the same.
