Not really sure how hot it was today, but I think the humidity was it's equal. Not very comfortable. But I always try to tell myself it could be worse. This was really a nothing day. I did have a first, well really it was a second. Tim wants me to know how everything works on the coach. I know it's a good idea, but.....so the day before he left for Denver, I had to learn about the sewer system. Ok I did it. Today, he wanted to do it again. Oh no. Help me find how in this weak memory of mine. With a little coaxing, did it again. Really not difficult, just need to know how.
This morning I went to the park laundromat. It's really a great feeling having all the laundry completed at one time. Even though by tomorrow more dirty clothes will come. Made a quick trip to the grocery for dinner...tacos. Should have invited Geoff and Jacki over. He loves this meal. I will next time.
Had a good time watching birds today. I named one of the mockingbirds. He is now Toby. He sings loud and changes his sound often. He is my new bff. I also was entertained by an osprey hunting for a meal. Captured a few pics. Not the greatest but love them anyway.
We have a new workamer in today. Pat will be here through October. She is parked across from us and is all by herself. She tows a tiny cute Smart car. And she is tiny and a very sweet lady. Pat doesn't have a dog, but she does have a statue of a beagle, if think. Or maybe a basset. Only saw the side of it. It sits in front of her motor home. She works three days a week like Tim.
Tim just told me on his way home from Tina's, the pilot pointed out a stealth bomber on the left. He didn't see it but was exciting anyway.
Enough chit chatting... will close for now. Have a great evening!!!
This is Toby, gorgeous huh
If only my blog had audio
Doesn't Toby sound great
Toby is looking right at me
Keep up the good work, bud
An awesome osprey
Think he may have spotted something
Getting in position
Ready for the dive
His talons are down and open
Look out fishy, this big guy is on his down
Only a few more feet
Off he goes
Not sure if he caught lunch or not
Sure hope so
Tim installing a devise that will control the awning from flapping
We are now in Hurricane season
Need to be prepared
Having my class on how the sewer system works
Yuck, why do they make that tubing clear
Who needs to see all that
On a nicer note...
Looks like sunset is almost approaching. I shall return...
A little blurry
Beautiful anyway
Life is good
God is Love
Nite all
ps...as I was brushing my teeth, Toby came to the window and with his sweet voice, sang goodnight to me. Life can't be much better than that.
