Sunday, Dog Days in June

The last few days have felt like August, not June.  I try to think that it could be worse.  In my new life style, weather plays a bigger part in how I feel, think and act.  Don't really know why, just does.  Playing catch up again.  Let's see, Friday... was not a work day for Tim. We did errands together, and had dinner out at Pizza Hut.  Rained hard and long Friday night.  No wind, thank goodness just rain.
Saturday, cleaning and laundry kept me busy in the morning.  Then another first... went to Davidson College for a play that night with Pat, workamper friend here at the park.  Davidson Community Players performed Pajama Party.  It was a cute little play from the fifties.  Fifties music and clothes and sort of slow paced.  But the music was fun and the players seem to be having fun.
Sunday, today could have been called Friends Day.  We had several friends from the park stopping by, chatting for a while.  Enjoyed that a lot.  Then Pat organized a potluck dinner bringing leftovers.  I think she just made the name up because she had leftovers she wanted to use.  I did also, so it worked out great.  We ate down at the park bar, which was closed, don't know why.  I think no bartender was available to work.  Yeah for us!  It rained on us so we moved in under shelter except for Pat.  The only brave one.   Tom came when his work shift was over.  There are four workampers now plus me... Tim, Pat, Tom, and Drew.
We are having a thunderstorm now.  Not bad, but lots of rain.  So before I lose this post I will close.

I have no sunset photos for tonight, rain, rain, rain.  But I do have a couple images from yesterday's skies.  Enjoy

Tim thought the sky looked more like ocean waves instead of clouds
