Wednesday, Road Trip

Today,  we went on a road trip to Mobile, Alabama.  It was about 45 minutes from the campground.  We visited the battleship USS Alabama and submarine USS Drum.   Of course, the USS Drum was Tim's favorite with his experience being a torpedo expect.  He explained what things were and what they did.  Quite interesting.  The USS Alabama was equally interesting.  I don't know how tall guys moved around in the submarine easily.  We were, still are, very tired from all the steps and ducking our heads.  But much fun....

We had lunch at a restaurant in a Pro Bass Shop.  It had a very huge salt water tank.  I took tons of pics of the fish, but not many were good quality.  So Jacki, I'll post the best ones for you.. The store had more stuffed real animals than most live animals in a zoo.  Felt sorry for them, but enjoyed it also.  I saw a real armadillo.  Cool...

Life is the best ever!!!
