Sunday, What A Day

This has been a day, filled with cloudy skies, few sprinkles, no wind, some wind, lots of wind, sunny skies, just a mixture of it all.   A very calm morning, little reading, little research on campgrounds in Quartzsite, AZ, and actually can't think of much else we did.  We did have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a couple snacks in between.

We had a surprise visitor...don't usually have any of those, a neighbor down the road.  He had something for me to see...thought I had never seen one...a rattle snake, headless.  He was right.  Gordon had already cut it's head off.  Think it was in his cattle field.  He wanted me to touch it, thought that would be a first for me.  Had to bust his bubble, sharing with him that Jacki had a ball python for three years.  So I held that bad boy...even without a head, this snake continued to curl up, getting a little to close to my fingers, "Take him back Gordon," was my cry.  After a few stories about rattle snakes, Gordon presented me with the rattles.  Cut em right off in front of me.  Yuck...

                                                                         Yep, I did it
                                                                 Gordon, take it back!!!
                                                                        Oh, for me
                                                            You really don't have to

                                                                  Sooooooo delish
My next and final bright moment of this wonderful day, at least so far, was roasting marshmallows over Tim's new grill. All I have to say about it is YUMMMMMMMMY!

That's it for today

Life is so good
Nite all
