Friday, Work Day

Hey guys, hope all my family and friends out there who are experiencing the Arctic blast with its snow and ice managing ok.  I'm doing ok here with the bright sun and a gentle breeze.  Think we climbed to the mid 60s.  Our night was very chilly.  I know, y'all in the single digits would love to be chilly and not sub zero.  Come on down if you want to warm up a bit. I have an extra bed.  Tim still says we did not go far enough south.  I just say put another jacket on.

Today was my Monday.  The day went fast and very well.  My first reservation turned out to have a coupon for 3 nights.  Of course no training on that odd bird.  I managed with help.  I am sure not afraid to ask for help.  Totally busy all day.  There is a FMAC Rally going on here this weekend.  FMAC is organization sort of like AAA for autos, but for rvs.  I worked with the host, from that group to serve breakfast.  I aced that event with only one short stress moment...coffee was almost out and could not find coffee filters anywhere.  Was heading over to the office to get some, but office help came in to check on me at the same time.  Problem solved.  They were my replacements. They took over.  My time off.   To the coach I went, had a couple hours before my office duties began.  Home around four.  Tim's day also went well.  He gets off at 12 noon each workday.  My hours are scattered.  Guess that's one way to keep me on my toes.

Dinner consisted of a big salad with cold shrimp.  Yummmmm.  Tim likes his shrimp cut up in his
 salad.  Me, I like them whole, eating them on the side with a dip in cocktail sauce.  Simple meal after a long days work.  Not really long, just sort of sounded right.  Crazy me!

This afternoon Tim got out some Christmas decorations....time is really getting close.  Kind of hard for me decorating my coach.  My new coach has less counter, table space or whatever term I need to use for a place to sit objects.  Whatever they may be.  But I'm doing the best with what I have.  Goodwill is getting the rest.  It's all about weight and space you know.  Think I could have that phrase tattooed on my forehead.
