Sunday, Chilly Willy

It's 6:00 and 40 degrees and windy.  Don't know chill factor but it is chilly.  I need or would like at least 20 more degrees and no wind.  But it is what it is.  Could be worse.

Just completed my second week of work.  Four and a half months to go.  Yahoo!!!  Actually it's going ok now.  Learning a little more about the resort.  Sitting in on more training next week.

Wanted to share our fun evening last night.  Went to Gulf Shores to the Intracoastal Canal and watched a great Christmas Boat Parade.  It was so awesome.  I took 98 photos and after editing them have 0... that is 0 clear and crisp images.  I will post the best I have.  There were about 40 boats.  All decked out with lights, decorations, music, and many Santas'. Instead of Rudolph leading Santa's sleigh, blue lighted dolphins were used.  Pretty cool.  It was chilly out, so I wrapped up in a blanket.  Well, mostly I was standing trying to get great shots of the boats.  I knew the pics were not working out, but kept popping and hoping I would retrieve a few good ones.  Just know, if y'all are ever where there are boat parades of any kind, please go.  You will not be disappointed.

Not sure what I shared with in my last note.  How behind I might be.  Guess I need to check them out.  Don't want to repeat myself.

Been waiting for sunset to come.  Looked out my window and there was a row of pinkish clouds circling around the resort.  The clouds look more like mountains than clouds.  I'm not in a good location for sunsets or sunrises.  I am planning on a trip to the beach dedicated to sunrise and sunset photos.  Wanted to do that in Daytona Beach and that didn't happen.  So I am going to make it work here.  So be on the lookout for those.

My day started out great this morning. Received 3 emails from friends and a Christmas card.  Loved them all. Wonderful way to start the day!  Thanks guys for thinking of me.

That's about it for now...pictures to come
