If I would let it, the rain and the fact that I am going to miss Jeff and Katie's baby shower in beautiful Colorado this weekend, I would be the saddest girl around. But no, I will focus on my happiness...I just put up my Charlie Brown Christmas tree. LOVEN IT!!! Y'all know, it's all about weight. Ok, it weighs 1.1 pound. Guess I need to get busy and lose some weight. Need to keep Tim happy. Any way I can. Man, is it pouring out and the wind is a rockin' this coach. This is what happens at the gulf. Our third year winter here and Tim still loves it. Think he would make it permanent if I would say the word. And as quick as the sky opens up and the rain gushes out, it stops. Then minutes later, the pattern starts all over again.
I was issued my work schedule yesterday. Work usually 3 hours daily with Wednesday and Thursday off. Could change according to events scheduled at the clubhouse. Guess I can handle that. I will be in the office some and also assisting with parties/get togethers at the clubhouse. Now, y'all know that I am not a social butterfly, so let me just share the events scheduled for this week...game night in the clubhouse, December birthday bash in the clubhouse, Apple/MacIntosh help desk in the clubhouse, movie day 3pm and 7pm, serving popcorn and pop again in the clubhouse. All that is Monday thru Wednesday. Thursday there will be Christmas tree decorating in the clubhouse with a hot chocolate social afterwards. Friday's event is off site. Ah, thank goodness. Back again on Saturday for a bring a covered dish dinner and movie night. Sunday's agenda offers a pointsetta party! It will be hosted poolside, weather permitting. Man, what have I gotten myself into? After 5 months, I will either be a pro at socializing or be saying thank goodness it's over. And of course, you will be kept up to date on my growth or the lack of. This stresses me just reading my list of events. On the bright side, literally...the beautiful bright sun is trying very hard to pop out. Keep your eyes on the good.
Ok, will stop for now and share some of yesterday's pic...enjoy
Early morning sunrise
A great blue heron perched atop the gazebo at the pond
connecting walk ways thru the resort
A sunrise beauty
Backside of the clubhouse
Not much color but plenty of beauty
Our resort entrance...Bella Terra
Entrance again, clubhouse in the distance
An unusual hairy bark palm tree
On an owner's site
Don't know if I shared this before, some sites are owned privately and others owned by Bella Terra Resort owner/owners
There are very wide paved roads here
So not used to that
Last night's awesome sunset
Moments later, how quick it changes
From one beauty to another
Love my sunsets
That's it for now. Hope you saw what I saw as beauty. Please return for more....
