Tuesday, Interesting Day

This day began at the Walmart Campground, thats what I call it.  Went to bed with two other rvs, woke up to about a dozen, different sizes and shapes.  Headed out around 9:30am toward Oklahoma City...  on the road about 3 hours. We are staying at Council Rd RV Park.  It's close to 15 minutes south of Oklahoma City.  Now for my NC friends, you will not believe who is staying at the same campground... James Ball from Lincolnton, West Lincoln Principal?  I think he said this.   He also said he worked with the East Lincoln Marching Band when Jacki was in it.  It is such a small world.

Tim and I played tourist for the rest of the day.  Went into Oklahoma City, had a great time.  Toured the Bricktown on the Water Taxi.  We floated down the canal listening to our captain give us an exciting history lesson of the businesses in Bricktown.  Next, we headed to the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum.  Wow, that was a breathtaking experience.  This sunny afternoon has been stimulating.  Loved it!  Now for some pics of today.  Haven't forgotten my balloon pics or Rt 66.  They will come.  Internet is giving me fits!!!!!!!!!!   Will try tomorrow  for my pics!
