This has definitely been an unusually nondescript morning in connection with a normal colorful beginning of a day. I called it white for lack of better definition. When I look out, actually that is, and has been all morning what my surrounding appear to be. Pure sparkling white. As I look around, nothing is changing. It is very bright out and the reflection of the sun and sky on the water...white. I love to have different observations. As you will see in my pics, this has been a diverse morning...
The sun trying to emerge
And he's up
This may not be impressive but...look at this one below
This picturesque beauty was floating right over the coach behind me
I'll share one more postcard perfect picture with you
Doesn't take a lot to amaze me
Now exit the color, enter bright stark white
Three hours later , sky is still white and reflections on the water...white
Glad I love white
My most unusual find of the morning
I know each of you has heard of the expression...feeling like a drowned rat
Well, this may be its origin
Sitting on the edge of the beach where the water just rolled up
I spied this peculiar moving object in front of me
Soaking wet, and still breathing
Now as how this little sweetie pie appeared on the beach
The beach is getting manicure, so to speak
I named this worker, the Beach Fluffer
He is dragging the sand, picking up debree
As this is happening, the sand becomes fluffy, powdery soft and snow white again
So inspiring for a girl not exposed to the beach much
Now, back to this little guy
I think he was hiding in some washed ashore sea weed
Then the Sand Fluffer disturbed him
Hopefully the hot sun will dry him out and he will scurry away
All this needs to happen before the sea birds start breakfast hunting
Well guys, it is almost lunchtime, so if more interesting happenings occur, I will return. If there are none I will still come back to see good night...
I'm back, have a couple images of afternoon happenings thought you might enjoy. We made a quick trip to Walmart for a few supplies. Came home and hurried over to the beach to finish my latest book, The Majority Rules by Eugene Sullivan. I had two chapters left and wanted to make sure it was going to end the way I anticipated it would. Yes it did, almost.
While totally engulfed with my book, two crazy things happened. I was sitting in my chair in the water. Then all of a sudden, the tide started heading in and the waves were splashing the bottom of the chair with me in it. The idea struck me that I should, get the heck out of Dodge and fast. So looking up about the same time, I saw this guy in the water in front of me, then, looking way up I saw his kite thing, for lack of its proper name. Kinda like para-gliding except using a surf board. Real crazy. He passed in front and over me twice, with his cords closer to my head than I liked. So to myself I said, it was time to make my exit.
That's it for tonight...couple more pics for you, enjoy!!!
Where I spent part of my afternoon
This is my visitor at the beach
You have to look close
Had to retreive my camera at the coach, by then he was long gone
Hope you can see him
Oh Daddy, please don't use those scary things on me!!!!!
And, it's not funny
This is the awesome view from our coach
Just lovin it...
Life is good
God is great
Nite all
