I am so excited for tomorrow. I did capture a few balloons sailing across the sky this morning. The buzz around the park was each school in the area, around 60, had a balloon take off on their grounds. A lesson about the balloon and flying it was also scheduled. Think this is a great community service. Also heard all the balloons flying yesterday and today were chartered....$200.00 -400.00 a trip. Tim is hoping our pilot will offer him a ride. Me, not really interested. I just want to watch them.
Another interesting tidbit, there is a General Mills plant next to this park. And OMG, does it smell wonderful here most of the time. Just like grandmas kitchen. When I first took a whiff of the most tantalizing aroma, thought Wendy, my neighbor, was baking blueberry muffins, and was actually waiting for her to bring me one. Man was I disappointed. They say when cocoa puffs are being made, chocolate scent drifts through the air. Haven't experienced that yet. Sure cant wait for that to happen.
Stayed home today, preparing for tomorrow. A bus will take chase crew members to the balloon lift off spot, starting at 5:30 am. Yep, that will be us. Sure am glad I'm a morning person. I am so excited to share with you this awesome experience I'm about to encounter. Have camera fully charged.
That's it for tonight, big day waiting for me.
